In June 1990, longtime Realtors and friends Alan Cannon and Mack Chamblee became partners, forming Cannon-Chamblee Real Estate. Their goal was to provide Anderson the very best in professional real estate service. Alan and Mack provided service using the latest in real estate technology and resources with a personal, hometown feel. They specialized in lake, farms, and residential properties.

In 1994 they joined firms with Tommy Miller, who specialized in Anderson’s commercial real estate market. Together they became Anderson Area Properties, and established AAP as one of the top real estate firms in the area.

In 2003, Dave Chamblee assumed ownership and began serving as Broker-in-Charge.

In March 2008, AAP moved to it's current location at 1944 Pearman Dairy Road. At 10,000 square feet, the current office has 27 offices and has provided AAP the opportunity of continued growth.

AAP continues to provide the very best in real estate service. When it comes to selling property in AndersonCounty, AAP ranks in the top 3% of all firms in the Western Upstate MLS (over 200 firms) with sales volume in excess of $48 million annually.
